Bock is the first European manufacturer to offer semi-hermetic Bock ATEX compressors certified in accordance to ATEX machine category Zone 1 & Zone 2. Additionally, Bock acquired IECex conformity certification for global acceptance.

All Bock ATEX compressors are also approved for operation with the normal Freon HFC refrigerants as well as the common hydrocarbons refrigerants. Bock maintains a quality management system in accordance to EN 80079-34 conforming to the ATEX and IECEx specifications.

What is an ATEX Compressor?

ATEX-certified compressors are engineered for explosion-proof environments where gases, vapors, or dust create ignition hazards. Bock, a globally trusted brand, offers ATEX – compliant compressors that deliver robust performance while maintaining strict safety standards. • Installation of de-energizing safety barriers to be installed outside EX Zone
• Classification of the compressor in temperature class T3
